Qatar has been pushing to establish a digital manufacturing ecosystem. It aims to stand as the best in class in the digital maturity index.
Digital Factory is an essential step for Qatar's National Vision and Digital Agenda 2030 & it's aim to be a more resilient nation.
The problem
Qatar is embarking on a digital transformation, moving from a fragmented, paper-based system to a centralized, user-friendly digital platform.
The Digital Factory aims to revolutionise citizen access to government services, addressing long-standing challenges in information accessibility and service delivery.
The Who
Qatar's citizens are the primary beneficiaries of the Digital Factory's vision. From obtaining birth certificates to school selection, this platform will transform traditionally bureaucratic processes.
By digitising services, citizens can now avoid endless queues, prevent document loss, and access transparent, unbiased government systems efficiently.
My role
I was a part of the Visual Design System team at Accenture Song & Fjord. Along with a my Design Director, I led a team of 4 to craft Qatars National Digital Identity.
Creating components, tokenising the library, documenting artefacts & leading the collaboration on scaling this product with the development team were my key responsibilities.
